Performs research, organizes conferences and seminars and writes articles for publication related to the latest financial concepts and issues.
Research for Clients.
Conducts “custom” research on client designated topics on request (financial researches).
Manage the collection of quantitative and qualitative data.
Select the most appropriate research methodology and techniques.
Summarize and explain research findings and their implications.
Propose new topics and ideas to develop the research’s activities.
Conferences and Seminars.
Assists in the organization of conferences and seminars related to issues affecting the financial and banking sector. These activities contribute to raising awareness within the EBI membership and among EBI employees. These conferences include both local and international topics as well as developing trends and best practices within the industry.
Reports on conference and seminar activities and the information provided in “Seminar Links”, Discussion paper and “Financial Infos”. Also contributes to the EBI Newsletter and “White research papers” developed to effectively disseminate information to the public and EBI staff.
Education & Experience:
University Degree, majoring in Economics, Finance or Business.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Research in the fields of Economics and Banking.
Market Research knowledge is a plus.
Skill & Knowledge:
Broad knowledge of Economics and the financial and banking industry
Ability to compile research findings into compelling and easy-to-follow report format
Ability to interpret quantitative data and analyze qualitative data
Ability to present research findings in an articulate manner
Ability to influence and persuade at any level both internal and external to the organization.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to organize events
Ability to understand instructions and communicate in English
